Edry Goot began her yoga practice over 20 years ago. As a marriage and family therapist, she was searching for a form of body movement that incorporated a meditative element. Yoga as a gentle flow, with a focus on calming oneself through breathing, seemed to help her and her clients. In 2004 Edry found Jean Pierre, Linda and the Coronado Yoga & Wellness Center and knew Kitaido Yoga was the perfect fit for her teacher training. She has enjoyed teaching and being a part of this yoga community for the past 17 years.
Letycia Soto has been a practitioner of yoga for over 20 years, attending classes at various studios throughout San Diego and Mexico. In 2002, she took Coronado Yoga & Wellness Center’s Kitaido Yoga teacher training and began teaching classes the very next morning. Letycia finds the peace and silence of a yoga class centers her and brings balance to her life. She has also taught at Playa de Tijuana Rehabilitation Center in Mexico and Purisma Yoga in Bonita. Whether teaching or attending class Letycia believes that yoga is always the best part of her day.
Suzanne Ware has been a practitioner of yoga for over 40 years. Suzanne wanted share her experience of the joy and benefits of yoga with her friends so she signed up for the Kitaido Yoga teacher training with Jean Pierre and started a class on her back patio. Eventually, she went on to earn a Master Teacher certificate in Deep Healing Yoga and began teaching studio classes and her students followed. Now, 15 years later her practice has evolved into a gentler style, and because some of her students must use chairs to continue their practice she became a certified Chair Yoga teacher to support their needs. Suzanne says “for this opportunity to offer guidance on the path of yoga, I am truly grateful” and she will continue to encourage her students to keep moving and have fun.
